Wimpy is a quick service, casual dining brand which has inspired families and friends to come together for shared moments over meals. It has become a South African icon since the first Wimpy store opened in Durban in 1967. The Wimpy network now consists of over 500 franchised stores in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia,and Zambia with numerous new stores in the pipeline.
Our Botswana story started over 20 years ago when we opened doors to our first restaurant in Gaborone. Our ever-growing network which currently has 10 stores across the country ensures that there is always a Wimpy nearby where you can enjoy every moment. We are famous for our breakfast meals and most recently our espresso-based coffees which have been introduced through our Premium Blend Coffee Range, making catchup coffee breaks a lot more special.
